Privacy Policy Text Regarding the Acquisition and Processing of Personal Data
By Jimer Dental Clinics and its dominant and affiliated companies, your personal data, as a Data Controller within the scope of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("Law") and related legislation, will be processed in accordance with the framework described below and the Law on Basic Health Services No. 3359, the Decree Law No. 663 on the Organization and Duties of the Ministry of Health and its Affiliated Institutions, the Regulation on Private Hospitals, and the regulations of the Ministry of Health and other relevant legislation.
Acquisition, Processing, and Purpose of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data is obtained by Jimer Dental Clinics for the purposes of protecting public health, preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, planning and management of health services and financing, and in accordance with the activities of Jimer Dental Clinics companies; verbally, in writing, visually, or electronically, through call centers, websites, verbal, written, and similar channels. Your health data, including but not limited to your sensitive personal data and general personal data, may be processed by the Group, in connection with and limited to the purposes specified in this article, in a limited and proportionate manner:
Identity information: Your name, surname, Identification number, passport number or temporary Identification number, your place and date of birth, your marital status, your gender, your insurance or patient protocol number, and other identity data that can identify you.
Contact Information: Your address, telephone number, email address, and other communication data, your personal data obtained when you communicate with us via electronic mail, letter, or other means.
Accounting Information: Your bank account number, IBAN number, credit card information, billing information, and other financial data.
Your private health insurance data and Social Security Institution data for the financing and planning of health services.
Camera records kept for security and surveillance purposes when visiting our hospitals or medical centers.
Your vehicle plate information when using the parking lot.
Health Information: All kinds of health and sexual life-related personal data obtained during the execution of medical diagnosis, treatment, and care services, including but not limited to your laboratory results, test results, examination data, appointment information, check-up information, and prescription information.
Your health data and other personal data that you send or enter on the website www.jimerdentalclinic.com.
Your other personal data, including your resume obtained if you apply for a job to Jimer or any Jimer Group company, and all kinds of personal data related to your service contract and suitability for work if you are an employee of Jimer Dental Clinics or an associated employee.
All kinds of personal data obtained by Jimer Dental Clinics (including sensitive personal data, but not limited to these) may be processed for the following purposes:
Verification of your identity,
Protection of public health, preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, planning and management of health services and financing,
Sharing information requested by the Ministry of Health and other public institutions and organizations in accordance with relevant legislation,
Planning and managing the daily operations of our hospitals and Medical Centers,
Measuring, increasing, and researching patient satisfaction by the Hospital Management, Patient Rights, and Patient Experience departments,
Supplying medication,
Informing you about appointments if you make an appointment,
Carrying out risk management and quality improvement activities,
Analyzing to improve healthcare services,
Sharing information requested by private insurance companies within the scope of eligibility inquiry and sharing your examination, diagnosis, and treatment expenses with these companies by the departments of Patient Services, Financial Affairs, and Marketing.
Conducting research,
Meeting legal and regulatory requirements,
Sharing requested information with private insurance companies within the scope of healthcare financing,
Implementing risk management and quality improvement activities by Quality, Patient Experience, and Information Systems departments.
Billing for our services and confirming your relationship with contracted institutions by the departments of Patient Services, Financial Affairs, and Marketing.
Participating in campaigns and providing campaign information by Marketing, Media and Communication, Call Center departments, designing and transmitting special content, tangible and intangible benefits on Web and mobile channels.
Your Personal Data may be transferred to Jimer Dental Clinics or Jimer Dental Clinics' physical archives and/or information systems, by being transferred in digital and physical environments, in accordance with the relevant legislation and the purposes stated above.
Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be shared with Jimer and Jimer Dental Clinics' affiliated companies, private insurance companies, the Ministry of Health and its affiliated units, the Social Security Institution, the General Directorate of Security and other law enforcement agencies, the General Directorate of Population, the Turkish Pharmacists Association, Courts and all kinds of judicial authorities, central and other third parties, your authorized representatives, lawyers, tax and financial advisors, and auditors, including third parties from whom we receive consultancy, regulatory and supervisory institutions, official authorities, including health services, we cooperate with our business partners and other third parties for the purposes stated above, within the scope of the Law and other legislation.
Method and Legal Basis of Data Acquisition
Your personal data are collected and processed in any verbal, written, visual, or electronic environment, in accordance with the activities of Jimer and any kind of work included in Jimer's field of activity, within the legal framework, in order to fulfill Jimer's contractual and legal obligations completely and properly. The legal basis for the collection of your personal data is as follows;
Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data,
Law No. 3359 on Basic Health Services,
Decree Law No. 663 on the Organization and Duties of the Ministry of Health and Its Affiliated Institutions,
Regulation on Private Hospitals,
Regulation on the Processing and Privacy of Personal Health Data,
Regulations of the Ministry of Health and other provisions of the legislation.
In addition, as stated in Article 6, Paragraph 3 of the Law, personal data relating to health and sexual life may only be processed without the explicit consent of the data subject by persons or authorized public institutions and organizations under the obligation of secrecy, for the purpose of protecting public health, preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, treatment, and care services, planning and managing health services and financing.
Your Rights Regarding the Protection of Personal Data
According to the Law and related legislation;
Learning whether personal data is processed,
Requesting information if personal data has been processed,
Access to personal health data and requesting this data,
Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
Knowing the third parties to whom personal data are transferred, domestically or abroad,
Requesting the correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,
Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data,
Requesting the correction of processed data and/or deletion or destruction of personal data, to be notified to third parties to whom personal data are transferred,
You have the right to object to the occurrence of a result against yourself by analyzing the processed data solely through automated systems.
